A.D Leathers
We take great care in choosing the right materials and mainly use vegetable tanned leathers which are chosen for their unique characteristics and made to our own specification. Sourced from the best tanneries in Europe, they adhere to strict production and environmental impact codes.
We do not use artificial coatings, the leather is simply treated by hand with oils and waxes. Throughout the life of the product it is important to feed and nourish the leather and we have details here.
We use 'full grain' leather which have varying patterns and small blemishes and marks individual to each piece. These leathers will age and darken naturally with exposure to sunlight and taking on a beautiful patina. Each piece will softens over time which giving an individual character to each item.
Strong, adjustable bridle leather straps combine with solid brass cast nickel-plated fittings and solid aluminium rivets to make a comfortable and sturdy bag that will last a lifetime.
Due to the nature of the leather and the manufacturing process, small creases and imperfections will be more apparent in the smooth leather.
